Sunoto might have his hands full when he takes on dangerous Cambodian kickboxer Chan Heng on ONE: Quest for Power this Friday, but his mind is definitely somewhere else.

Coming off a heartbreaking defeat last December against Team Lakay standout Edward Kelly, the Indonesian grappler just can't seem to move forward from that stunning defeat where Kelly's late rally in the third round ended the fight for good.

The 31-year-old Sunoto was pretty much in control of the bout before Kelly nailed a perfectly placed body kick which decked Sunoto and set the stage for the finish.

That is a loss that doesn't sit well with him.

"I want a rematch with Edward Kelly. My fight against him is my only loss in 2016. I would like to redeem myself by facing him again," said Sunoto who's toting a 5-3 slate.

But despite having Kelly on his radar, Sunoto stated that he's not in any way overlooking Heng who is definitely hungry following a year-long layoff after his defeat to Mario Satya Wirawan late in 2015.

"Basically, I went back to the gym after the Edward Kelly fight. I didn’t take any time off," Sunoto continued. "For this fight, I am leaving everything, including my coaching job to focus on preparing myself for the fight. I really want to win this fight."

That might be the only chance Sunoto catches up with his tormentor in Kelly as the 32-year old striker is riding high on a three-fight winning run, going undefeated in 2016.

Winning is the only way to catch up with Kelly and that is exactly what Sunoto intends to do on Friday.

"I have all the respect in the world for Edward. He's a good man and a good fighter, but I believe that I have a big shot at winning if there will be a rematch in the future," Sunoto concluded.
